Regarding resolutions, switching resolutions wont improve nothing, as the internal resolution its always set to 480p as an original PS2, but on the flip side, PlayStation3 uses his own upscaling methods to smooth out rough edges, but it won´t improve graphical fidelity, the max upscale its set to 720p on the PS2 Classics, and 1080p on the PS2 Backwards Compatible PS3s. PlayStation2 Emulation on Non-Backwards Compatible machines, isn´t 100% perfect, not can it replicate the 100% genuine PlayStation2 feel, so bugs and imperfections are to be expected when running a emulated software solution, but the emulator its well codeed, and can play i assume around 70% of the PS2 library. Regarding the PS2 Emulation on HAN or CFW, there its no difference, as both use PS2 NET_EMU (PS2 Classics), but if you own a 60Gb (CECHA/B/C/E) Backwards Compatible PlayStation3, CFW takes full advantage of the PS2 Hardware inside, so you are running on a original PlayStation2 hardware. Even gone as far as temporarily disabling my Firewalls and still to no avail.Lets start with baby steps here, i know the PS2 Net_Emu (PS2 Classics) supports Config files, but since you console its on HAN (which i assume it is), i am not sure if these Config files can be loaded. I AM STILL GETTING THE SAME HTTP 404 ERROR when I enter my Local IP address in a new web browser and am unable to connect to Apache. I even double checked in CMD mode and found the exact Local IP address that I had assigned, as well as the Port number that I assigned, located the PID and went into Task Manager > Services and verified that was the correct application that was supposed to be running. 4) After further research I was directed to a forum that the user had reported that by going into CONFIG (from the Apache Line, from the Main GUI Menu) they changed the following values: Line 59: Listen Line 60: Listen Line 228: localhost: I saved my changes, closed out XAMPP, re-launched (as ADMIN) and I installed the APACHE Service from the GUI Menu, Started the service and VIOLA! I am now able to successful run the service with no conflicts. From here I attempted to start the Apache Service from the GUI menu but I was still prompted with the same error message. ini file in the C:, deleted the file, changed the Port Number and was able to save my settings. At first I was not able to save the xampp-control.ini file and it would abort my attempts. I changed this to the desired Listening Port Number. I was able to identify a Port, along with the corresponding Local IP address to useģ) From the XAMPP GUI menu I got to CONFIG > SERVICE AND PORT SETTINGS > and within the Service Settings GUI I can see that under the Apache Settings the Main Port was set to 80. I then wanted to use a Port that was in a Listening state by identifying the Local IPv4 Address, in addition to what port it would inbound communications. Turns out Port 80 was already in use by svchost and a ton of other applications that I have installed and running on my computer. Here is what has transpired so far: 1) After I installed xAMPP (Ran as ADMIN for the installation, installed everything that was recommended) upon launching the application (as ADMIN) I get an error message for Apache: XAMPP Port 80 in use by "Unable to open process" with PID 4 2) I then ran CMD (as ADMIN), ran netstat -aon to identify what Ports are in a Listening state and what are active. I am getting an HTTP 404 Error Message whenever I test that Apache has been installed and running by going to my Local IP Address. What I am trying to accomplish is to Jailbreak my Fat PS3 on 4.90, here is the link of the guide I am following:
